Kate Cranney

Occupational Therapist, Hand Therapy

Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the University of Sydney in 2016 and brings a broad and well-rounded skillset to her role as a Hand Therapist at Coastal Physiotherapy Clinic. She has worked across a wide range of occupational therapy settings, including neurological rehabilitation, acute care, and community-based work, giving her a strong foundation in complex and patient-centred treatment.

Later in her career, Kate chose to pursue hand therapy—and we couldn’t be happier she did. She is hardworking, deeply caring, and genuinely invested in achieving the best possible outcomes for her patients. Known for her calm and reassuring presence, Kate is an excellent listener who enjoys building strong therapeutic relationships and celebrating progress, big or small.

Kate has practised in a variety of settings, including overseas in the UK and interstate in Darwin, before returning home to the Central Coast.
