Lauren Dobbie
Physiotherapist
Lauren is a physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). Before beginning her physiotherapy career, she completed her Certificate III and IV in Fitness and worked in a gym environment, developing a strong foundation in strength training and exercise prescription. She also has completed her Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coaches Course.
In 2026 Lauren will be completing her Cross-Bracing Protocol training for Conservative ACL management.
Lauren is passionate about rehabilitating sports-related and orthopaedic injuries, with a strong focus on return to function and return to sport. She has a particular interest in working with female athletes in the gym setting, combining physiotherapy and strength-based rehabilitation to support performance and confidence.
Outside of work Lauren will either be at the gym where she enjoys joining in on group fitness classes, reading a book (and won’t say no to a recommendation) or enjoying walks along our beautiful coastline – usually with a mandatory iced chocolate!
Lauren’s areas of interest include:
- Orthopaedic rehabilitation
- Knee rehabilitation
- Ankle rehabilitation
- Return to sport and gym-based rehabilitation
- Strength and conditioning for female athletes
